The science sector cluster effect

Leicestershire is witnessing a boom in science and technology and research and development companies.

At MIPIM 2014, the Leicester and Leicestershire Economic Partnership (LLEP) will be hosting a unique event exploring how a cluster of businesses within a sector across the county is helping to drive property market development.

The event entitled ‘Leveraging Successful Development through the Cluster Effect’ is scheduled for Thursday 13th March from 10.30am – 12.30pm at the Gray D’Albion Hotel, Rue des Serbes, Cannes.

Dr Carl Edwards, Site Director at Charnwood Biomedical Campus, will be joining the panel of experts at the event.

Commenting, Dr Edwards said, “The East Midlands has a large collaborative healthcare community, which supports high quality research and is a key element in how we are developing the Campus here, building a bigger cluster to accelerate the development of better therapies.”

Registration for the event is limited and is bookable here.
