Unmet Clinical Needs and Challenges for patients with Multiple Long-Term Conditions

A by-invitation, and in-person-only event at Charnwood Campus in collaboration with Innovate UK Business Connect and University of Leicester.

There are an estimated 14 million people in England living with multiple long term conditions (MLTCs). This number is growing, in line with our ageing population. It also affects young people, with almost 20% of 25-64-year-olds having more than one condition. We know that those living in the most deprived areas are more likely to develop MLTC earlier in life. It is already estimated that people with MLTC account for more than half of NHS primary and secondary care costs.

To deliver solutions to address MLTCs we are carefully selecting and inviting key players and keen collaborators who could play an important role in addressing these unmet needs. The event is designed to stimulate collaborations, leading to new projects and products to benefit patients.
