Supporting Midlands Integrated Care Systems to Maximise Impact on Local Social and Economic Outcomes
September 17 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Introduction
The 4th purpose of Integrated Care Systems is to maximise impact on local social and economic outcomes. This will require system working with the NHS and local partners to realise the potential of the NHS as an Anchor within society to improve population health and wealth.
Event purpose
The event will bring together key partners across the region with an interest in health and economic development to:
- Explore the state of the region both for the economy and population health
- Unpack the potential of the NHS as an Anchor, the partnerships required and steps to take
- Illustrate ‘in action’ practical examples
- Explore opportunities, successes and challenges
- Agree how we can set up a regional platform for ICSs and partners to share work, learn from each other and if appropriate work together
