Charnwood Campus is starting to host a number of events and meetings for other organisations. The East Midlands R&D Leads Group hold their monthly meetings on the Campus. Dr David Hetmanski, Associate Director of R&D at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust commented, “The meetings we hold are the East Midlands R&D Leads Group which is a group of senior R&D managers or equivalent from all the NHS Trusts in the East Midlands. We meet to discuss all matters pertaining to NHS Research including research funding, the interaction with the NIHR (National Institute for Health Research), the local Clinical Research Network, research governance, finance, staffing.”
The Campus has a range of flexible meeting facilities to suit the needs of external groups looking to hold off-site meetings and events.
